Thank you for supporting Barbara Ostlund Fluid Art. Each piece is handmade, one-of-a-kind, and created with care. Because of the unique nature of original artwork, please review our return and refund policy below.

1. Damaged Artwork: We want your artwork to arrive safely. If your order arrives damaged in transit:

  • Personal Information:Please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

  • Provide clear photos of the packaging and the damage.

  • Once approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion).

  • If a return is approved due to shipping damage, we will provide instructions and cover the return shipping costs.

2. Custom & Commissioned Work

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin a custom project.

  • Because the buyer must first approve commissioned and custom pieces, these are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

3. Returns and Refunds: Barbara Ostlund Fluid Art’s Returns and Refunds Policy lasts 14 days. We are unable to offer you a full refund if 14 days have passed since the date of your purchase.

4. Refund Eligibility - Your item must be returned undamaged and in the same condition that you received it to be eligible for a refund within the time limit. To ensure that the artwork does not receive any damage while in your care or during shipping, the returned item should also be in its original packaging or in similar protective packaging.

5. Refund Processing:

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

  • We will also specify the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If we approve your refund, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, normally within 3-5 business days.

  • If you have any questions or concerns regarding your refund, please send an email stating your concerns to info@barbaraostlundfluidart.com.

6. Exchanges: Due to the handmade and unique nature of artwork, we do not accept returns for exchange.

7. Commissions: Commissioned artwork will not be shipped until the buyer has sent a message stating that the artwork meets the commission request / that the buyer approves.

  • Since there are no exchanges, this commission policy is in place to ensure that the buyer approves the artwork as commissioned.

  • Note: A delay in communicating approval of the commissioned artwork may also delay shipment / receipt of the artwork.
